“FirstFridays” on the Marina is a new event for 2016 and features California wine, local craft beer, an art walk featuring local artists, and live music on the marina green. $10 First Pour & Souvenir Glass. $5 each additional Pour. Born and raised in Pittsburg, Erik Awesome has become a Trailblazer, up and coming Comic producing shows with a line up of funny comedians leaving crowds wanting for more. From his athletic high school sports filled background, comedy has become the forefront for this entertainer and giving Comedy back to his community is a great vehicle to display his talent to the kids and young adults living in the city of Pittsburg, CA where he grew up. 4th of July Fireworks Display 2016: July 4, after sunset.

Pittsburg’s waterfront fireworks display returns again this year for family fun. Please take public transportation to the Pittsburg Marina so you don’t have to fight traffic before or after the event.

The Old Town Farmers’ Market is back for 2016! Join us every Saturday from May 7th until October 29th, 9am – 1pm in Old Town Plaza. You’ll find a wonderful array of fruit and vegetable vendors providing a beautiful selection of fresh and organic produce. Visit the market every Saturday, enjoy live music, and also delight in the delicious treats from the food vendors! Event Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids Dates/Times July 7 & 8, 2016 @ 7PM Description Bay Area Children’s Theatre Youth Education Program will be performing Disney’s The Jungle Book. This fast-paced musical theatre camp takes students entering second – eighth grades through daily fun and engaging rehearsals as we prepare for a fully produced show. Working with a director, choreographer, and music director, campers learn vocal technique, basic dance vocabulary, and storytelling. Staff place an emphasis on building a strong ensemble who support each other on and off stage and use the craft of theatre to help campers build life skills such as creative thinking and problem solving, empathy, and self-confidence.
