This fast-paced musical theatre camp takes students entering second – eighth grades through daily fun and engaging rehearsals as we prepare for a fully produced show, Madagascar Jr. Working with a director, choreographer, and music director, campers learn vocal technique, basic dance vocabulary, and storytelling. Staff place an emphasis on building a strong ensemble who support each other on and off stage and use the craft of theatre to help campers build life skills such as creative thinking and problem solving, empathy, and self-confidence. In addition to rehearsals, campers play theatre games and have outdoor breaks for snack and lunch. June 18-29, Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm. Call California Theatre for registration information.
